Rich has been a long-time developer, author and trainer. He has written the best selling book Special Edition Using FileMaker Pro 5 from Que Publishing, and has been a featured speaker at many industry trade shows over the years, including the FileMaker Developer Conference, MacWorld Expo and Seybold Seminars. Rich is the reason the rest of the management team joined The Support Group.
Chad Novotny - Co-Owner and Vice President, Technology

Chad specializes in high-end systems design, training and web integration. Since joining The Support Group in 1998, he has been the architect for numerous solutions, has trained hundreds of users and developers, and has been a frequent speaker at user groups. Chad lives in Cambridge, Mass. and is indoctrinating his young daughter as a Red Sox fan.
Jeff Turner - General Manager and Vice President, Sales

Jeff has been involved in high tech sales and marketing for over 25 years. He spent 10 years at Apple Computer where he was a 4-time winner of the "Golden Apple" sales achievement award and set a company-wide record for managing the first team to ever exceed $100M in revenue. He spent 6 years at Media 100, Inc., a manufacturer of Mac and PC-based digital video/multimedia systems, most recently as their VP Worldwide Sales building direct and channel sales throughout the world. Jeff plays the drums, not very well, but he has fun.
Nena Guthrie - Managing Director, San Francisco & Los Angeles

Nena has been selling enterprise software, hardware and consulting services for more than 20 years. She worked at ePeople, Inc. as Regional Manager selling ePeople's CRM solution and at Softbank, where she was Director of Strategic Accounts. She spent 7 years at Platinum Technologies' Answer Systems Division as Director of Consulting Services where she grew consulting revenues 45% making her the top performer 6 out of 7 years. Nena also worked at Memorex Corporation where she was responsible for new business development in their OEM, Hardware and Media Products groups. If you chat with Nena, ask about her dog.
Karyn Witzel - Managing Director, New York

Karyn joined The Support Group after spending 4 years working as an independent consultant. Prior to that she spent 5 years at Image Info, Inc., a New York City based company specializing in software for the fashion and apparel industry, starting as a developer and eventually being promoted to Director of Development. Karyn also spent several years in the fashion industry, as Production Manager for a manufacturing company before moving on to work for an events producer on fashion shows. Karyn is taking ballroom dance lessons and she's really good!
Julien Lafleur - Development Director

Julien Lafleur specializes in high-end systems and training, having built systems for numerous clients including Hewlett Packard, Harvard University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and OxFam America. Julien has also instructed at Cornell, Harvard, the University of Michigan and the University of Minnesota teaching database development. Julien volunteers his time working with children at Boston's Museum of Science.
